The Reverse Stubby kit for the VFD transmission makes the VFD/VFD transmission as compact as possible while still giving you the gear reduction that’s needed.  Although this was really designed with RC tube buggy’s in mind this could also be used in custom applications.  
By flipping everything around it now exposes the motor allow for the use of a scale Engine cover in your buggy. This can be used for front motor or rear motor buggy’s and you can run either a small outrunner motor or a 2 in 1 motor esc combo.  
The kit includes a new spur gear that is a 45t 48p gear. The new motor plate allows you to run down to a 10t 48p pinion, this allows plenty of gear reduction for even those straight axle rigs!!
